Introduction: Astragalus is a bird of the genus Ardeidae, a medium-sized wader. The male bird's forehead, head, occipital and crown feathers are black, slightly grayish-white vertical stripes, and the head, back neck and neck are brownish yellow; the female is like a male, but the head is chestnut brown with black vertical stripes. Inhabits the plains, and the open waters of low-mountain hills with water-rich plants. In particular, I like to inhabit small and medium-sized lakes, reservoirs, ponds and swamps that have both open water and large water plants such as reeds and bulrush. It mainly feeds on animal food such as small fish, shrimp, frog and aquatic insects.
