Introduction: The pond heron is a typical wader, with a body length of about 47cm, a white-winged heron with a brown vertical body. Breeding feathers: the head and neck are deep maroon, chest purple sauce color. Inhabit rice fields, ponds, swamps, hi-only or 3-5 small groups in the paddy fields or marshes foraging, not afraid of people. The feeding habits are mainly fish, frogs and insects, and the food composition of young chicks is similar to that of adult birds. Distributed in Bangladesh to China and Southeast Asia.
