Introduction: The grass heron is a large and medium-sized wader. The body shape is spindle-shaped. The grass heron's forehead and head are blue-black. The occipital part has two gray-black long-shaped feathers. It is suspended from the head and looks like a scorpion. There are feathers. The legs are feathered, the ankles are bare, and the toes of the feet are behind the front toe.
