In June 2012, Linzhou Wanquan Lake Eco-tourism Development Co., Ltd. was registered. In November, the “General Plan of Linzhou Wanquan Lake Scenic Spot” compiled by the Institute of Geography of Henan Academy of Sciences was approved by Anyang Tourism Bureau and Linzhou Tourism Bureau, and the planned area was 67.8 square kilometers.
